A transformative redesign and migration

One of the key services that Kepro (now Acentra Health) offers is care coordination, which is a process of providing appropriate, timely, and cost-effective health care services to patients with complex needs. Care coordinators use eQ Care Coordinator (a part of eQSuite), a cloud-based, SaaS technology platform that enables them to access patient information, request prior authorizations, monitor care plans, and communicate with providers and patients.

The challenge: Overhauling legacy views

eQHealth (now Kepro/Acentra Health), one of the leaders in healthcare solutions, recognized the need to modernize its eQSuite web applications. The challenge was clear: how could we eliminate outdated views, enhance user experience, and introduce cutting-edge technologies for platform improvement.

The solution: From ASP.NET web forms to React components

As a leader in this initiative, I spearheaded the redesign and migration effort, marking a transition from the traditional ASP.NET Web Forms to the dynamic world of React. Here are the key highlights of my contributions:

Redesigning eQ Care Coordinator web applications: I undertook the task of redesigning eQSuite web applications, meticulously removing legacy views developed using ASP.NET Web Forms. This redesign wasn't just a facelift; it was a strategic move to position eQHealth at the forefront of modern web development practices.
Rebuilding from scratch with React: The decision to rebuild views from scratch using React components was pivotal. React's component-based architecture allowed for greater flexibility, reusability, and responsiveness. This transformation wasn't merely a technological upgrade; it was a commitment to delivering an unparalleled user experience.
